My family and I were really excited on going on a train ride to my mother’s house.  It was such a long way that driving would be really be difficult for my husband, and aside from that, we were expecting bad weather today.  As last minute preparations, my husband and I decided to purchase tarps to cover our cars during our vacation. Tarps are large sheet of strong, flexible, water-proof materials used to cover anything; the most common types are poly tarps, which derived from the name, are made from polyethylene. They are used for long term and strong protection, thus they were the perfect choice as covers for our cars.

We went to the mall and looked for tarps that will meet our purpose, we even find pop up canopy and other commercial canopies. The tarp that we decided to purchase was located at the large tarps section.  Large tarps were really our number one choice, since we had two cars that needed to be covered and protected from water, UV rays and rotting.  Aside from protection from the weather, they also allow air to circulate beneath them, preventing mold and mildew from forming.  Thus, we were assured that even if we were way out of town, our cars would be perfectly safe and covered.

When I want a new electronic, I visit an appliance outlet store so I can get the best and cheapest bargain. What I didn’t know is that buying appliances on-line is actually the cheapest way to go! I discovered this when I accidentally saw this website. I saw daily deals and steals and bought 3 new appliances for only 50 dollars! In two months, my parents will be celebrating their wedding anniversary. And I was the over-all  in-charge of the preparations, like decorations, food and refreshments, and inviting close family friends and relatives. There were so many things to accomplish, and when everything was all set, I suddenly remembered I hadn’t got any present to give my parents.

Now  that the Christmas season is in the air, people are very busy putting up Christmas  decorations on their lawns, houses, even shopping malls, stores and even street lights and posts are covered with it.  And the favorite Christmas decoration of all time, is putting up Christmas Trees. Families take the time to put up the Christmas Trees and decorate it, as for me, it is one of my favorite family activities in preparation for the holidays.  My husband would test the Christmas lights, and other electronic stuff, and the kids are busy placing the Christmas tree decorations, and as for me, I make sure everything is done right.

I still remember the day we bought our first Christmas Tree, from all the Artificial Christmas Trees to choose from, my family  and I spent hours and hours looking for the perfect Christmas tree for our house.  There were so many sizes, designs and styles to choose from, there were the classical trees, colorful trees,  white trees, and unique trees.  However, it was my youngest son who chose the perfect tree for us, it wasn’t  the regular green tree, from amidst the White Christmas Trees at the department store, he chose our Christmas Tree.  We all agreed that my son chose the best tree there is.  We  instantly purchased the tree, and bought various decorations and Christmas lights, and the moment we got it standing up at home, we started decorating it. After spending hours decorating our tree, we were all satisfied with the outcome.  The white Christmas tree gave out an elegant appeal with snow covered branches, and it even looked much better with the lights turned off, the branched seem to glisten and sparkle.  I even got matching seat covers and other indoor Christmas decorations to really bring the magic of winter inside our home.

From the  chill air you feel you know that Christmas is just around the corner and giving Christmas gifts to people you hardly know is hard, you would probably give them the usual stuff like t-shirts, mugs, hankies, pens, etc.  But why not give them something practical and useful, that’s part of their everyday routine and something that they can’t definitely live without.
